Job Duties

Under strict supervision, performs maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and/or replacements, as well as alignment and maintenance of profiling electrical and mechanical equipment, according to instructions. Requires familiarity with surface systems, tools for open and cased hole wells, and laboratory testing equipment. When executed correctly, these tasks minimally impact the organization’s viability. Errors are easily detectable by the supervisor and can be corrected. Skills are typically acquired through a technical diploma in electronics or related electrical experience. Trains directly under the supervision of a Profiling and Drilling Supervisor or Senior Technician to gain knowledge of profiling and drilling equipment and tools, in preparation for formal maintenance training.

Qualifications

Education: Technical degree in Electromechanics and Mechanical with CFT active certification.

Desirable knowledge in hydraulic equipment, valves, and certifications.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Basic English skills.

Reside in Macaé or surrounding region.
