We are expanding our team in Betim and seeking talented HIL Validation Engineers to join us.

We are hiring for 4 positions at both Mid-Level (2-5 years of experience) and Advanced Level (5-9 years of experience).

This is a Hybrid role with an 8.5‑hour workday.

Role Overview

As a HIL Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for the validation of Body domain ECUs using state‑of‑the‑art dSPACE HIL systems.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our automotive software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) validation for Body domain ECUs using dSPACE HIL systems (PHS / Scalexio).
  • Connect ECUs, sensors, and actuators to the LabCar environment; manage wiring harness and breakout box testing.
  • Commission HIL rigs and debug hardware / software integration issues.
  • Develop HIL test specifications, create test cases, procedures, and generate comprehensive test reports.
  • Automate HIL tests utilizing Python or CAPL scripting.
  • Analyze test failures and perform root cause analysis within the test environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Agile processes, the V&V lifecycle, and ASPICE standards.
Mandatory Skills
  • Hands‑on experience with dSPACE HIL hardware (ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, ConfigurationDesk).
  • Solid knowledge of CAN / LIN protocols, UDS services, and ECU diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with Vector tools: CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape for communication setup and analysis.
  • Strong debugging skills related to ECU functional software and the HIL environment.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (Python / CAPL).
  • Experience with requirement management tools: DOORS, PREEVision.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in BCM (Body Control Module) validation or HVAC system testing.
  • Knowledge of CAN-FD, FlexRay, and Ethernet communication protocols.
  • Understanding of HIL simulator models (dSPACE) and ARXML models.
  • Exposure to multi‑ECU HIL setups and integration testing.

  • dSPACE: ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, ConfigurationDesk.
  • Vector tools: CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape.
  • MATLAB / Simulink for plant modeling.
Requirement & Debugging Tools
  • Requirement tools: DOORS, RTC.
