Qualificações

Role + Responsabilities

Help drive and coordinate solution business planning with associated SCs, define focus areas, financial targets, and activities :

  • Lead the team to develop customer base for solutions, generate leads, develop, and follow up on solutions opportunity pipeline by working with regional Sales Managers / Directors on current and future opportunities.
  • Develop and monitor local and regional sales forecast by working with regional Sales Managers / Directors on current and future opportunities.
  • Locate, monitor, and share potential opportunities through IIR.
  • Lead and encourage the performance and development of the team and suggest corrective actions if necessary.
  • Observe competitive situation in the market and provide feedback to management.
  • Collaborate with regional SC sales, BU Business Development, and execution Teams to exchange experience and promote continuous improvement and the development of a learning organization.
  • Network and collaborate with associated SC management, corporate functions, suppliers, and customers, as necessary.
  • Support local sales and consult the customer to develop a solution that fits the customer's business situation and processes, technical standards, and requirements, as well as financial situation and budget.
  • Support Local Sales to create financial value proposition for the customer based on the Endress+Hauser solution offering.
  • Review customer requirements and perform basic engineering design to define and describe the detailed scope of the solution - during sales and execution.
  • Provide technical to the Proposal Team for the creation of commercial proposals for defined solutions using SAP system or other tools, including bill of material, project costing and other documents required.
In particular :
  • Collaborate with BUS Execution Team to generate project execution strategy, detailed engineering, and project costing.
  • Project execution strategy, detailed engineering and project costing are deliverables under the ultimate responsibility of BUS Execution.
  • Perform contract review and risk assessment and include potential risk response actions in proposals in alignment with BUS Execution.
  • Support BUS Execution to identify 3rd party suppliers and fabricators.
  • Support Proposal Team in the negotiation and collaboration with them.
  • Identify opportunities for new solutions (standardized or customized), based on detailed knowledge of customers’ needs and processes.
  • Interact with Portfolio Managers to further develop the E+H solutions portfolio.
  • Roll out solution portfolio and train local salesforce.
  • Collaborate with local sales, execution, and BUS management in defining and further developing the portfolio of the BUS offering.
  • Support in customer meetings, site surveys and other activities required to complete technical and commercial proposals and / or to clarify basic design topics during execution.
  • Participate in hand over meetings with Project Execution team.
  • In general, the above activities can be required in both sales and execution phase.
  • Be able and willing to perform significant amount of travelling.

General Lead

Qualification + Profile
  • Technical degree in Engineering (automation, industry, electric, chemical).
  • Experience of working in a Process Engineering environment, e.g. project engineering, proposals engineering, sales or service.
  • Experience in Endress+Hauser products and / or solutions will be diffrential.
  • Experience in project management or solution business acquisition.
  • Technical degree in Engineering (automation, industry, electric, chemical)
  • Expert knowledge in the relevant customer processes and industry standards.
  • Understanding customers' needs and challenges.
  • Fluency in both oral and written Portuguese, Spanish and English.
  • Working knowledge of the Endress+Hauser product portfolio and 3rd party equipment relevant to the Endress+Hauser solutions portfolio.
