What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Manage technical relationships and integrations with insurance providers, ensuring a high degree of service availability
• Optimize the shopping engine to intelligently identify providers and retrieve accurate offers based on shopper data
• Increase the number of high-quality results retrieved per search/shopper by integrating new providers and improving existing integrations
• Enhance the accuracy of rate estimates by ensuring correct calculation and interpolation of inputs
• Design algorithms for anomaly detection and navigate production data to identify issues and optimizations

What is Required (Qualifications)

• Extensive backend engineering experience, particularly in TypeScript/NodeJS
• Strong product and business acumen with the ability to make nuanced product decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with external partners
• Strong process orientation to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency with data analysis tools like Looker and Datadog for identifying issues and driving optimizations
