Marketing & Social Media Trainee (Remote Internship)
Part-time | Fully Remote | 6 Months | Paid
Ecofiniti is a boutique sustainability and ESG consultancy working with purpose-driven organisations across the UK and internationally. We help companies make sustainability real, and we believe that how we communicate that work matters just as much as the work itself.
We’re looking for a Marketing & Social Media Trainee to join our team for 6 months. This is a paid, part-time, fully remote internship, ideal for someone early in their career who wants to develop practical skills in content creation, social media, and visual storytelling, while gaining exposure to ESG and sustainability topics.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a growing consultancy, much of our marketing is still evolving. You won’t be “plugging into” a fully formed brand machine. Instead, you’ll help us experiment, learn what works, and gradually shape our tone, visuals and storytelling, with guidance and feedback from the team. You’ll work closely with our Business Development and Consulting team to help us build and grow our brand presence across platforms.
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll contribute to:
- Creating visual and written content for LinkedIn and Instagram
- Designing graphics and templates in Canva or similar tools
- Writing captions, post ideas, and short summaries for our content
You’ll support the team on:
- Scheduling and posting content via tools like Buffer or Meta Suite
- Engaging with comments and messages in a thoughtful, timely way
- Supporting email campaign content and design
- Maintaining our case studies, services and content calendar
- Suggesting creative ways to tell our story in ESG and sustainability
This role focuses on organic content, brand building and storytelling. You won’t be expected to run paid advertising, manage complex analytics, or lead marketing strategy alone. You don’t need to know it all, but you should be someone who enjoys design, writing, and digital communication, and is open to learning fast.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Writes clearly in English and can adjust tone depending on the audience
- Has some experience with or interest in social media for brands or causes
- Is well‑organised and can work independently on weekly tasks
- Is curious about sustainability, ESG, or purpose‑led communication
- Is reliable, responsive, and open to feedback
- Is familiar with ESG topics, sustainable brands, or climate comms
- Speaks Spanish or Portuguese
- Has previously worked on content for LinkedIn or B2B audiences
