Start Date : January 19, 2026

Main responsibilities : Partner with teachers, Learning Support, and Counselors to create safe, inclusive, and predictable classroom environments. Support social-emotional learning through proactive routines and targeted interventions. Model and teach SEL skills in the classroom (e.g., self-regulation, coping strategies, problem-solving, and positive peer interactions). Design, implement, and monitor a continuum of supports, including whole-class prevention strategies, targeted small-group interventions, and individualized SEL / behavior support plans. Collaborate with families to strengthen home–school partnerships. Collect and analyze data to guide decisions and measure student progress. Support crisis prevention and response using trauma-informed practices

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, School Counseling, or a related field. Bilingual fluency in English and Portuguese. Experience implementing behavioral supports in Elementary or K–12 settings. Knowledge of PBIS, SEL, UDL, MTSS, and trauma-informed practices. Strong skills in data collection and analysis for behavior monitoring. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with cultural sensitivity.
