We invite an experienced and motivated Senior Software Engineer with strong backend expertise in Java or Kotlin to join our team. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and maintain reliable backend systems and microservices, contributing to the integration of large-scale products in the Point of Sale domain. You’ll deliver robust, high-quality solutions on our cloud platform that bring real value to end users and create new opportunities for clients.

✅ Is that you?

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Java (8+) or Kotlin
• Strong understanding of Java Core concepts and design patterns
• Expertise in Spring Boot, SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and microservices architecture
• Experience with message‑based integration using major brokers (GCP Pub/Sub, Apache Kafka, or Amazon SQS) and familiarity with major cloud platforms (preferably GCP)
• Proficiency in Git, REST API design, and code reviews
• Experience with unit and integration testing, focusing on code quality and close QA collaboration
• Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem‑solving skills
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and proactivity
• Excellent client‑facing communication and team collaboration skills
• Upper‑Intermediate+ English level

Desirable:

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
• Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of optional languages and build tools (Groovy, Gradle, Java 17)

Key responsibilities and your contribution

In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining backend systems while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot
• Build and integrate microservices with message queues or Pub/Sub
• Collaborate with QA to ensure high code quality, including unit and integration testing
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure service reliability
• Participate in system design and architecture discussions, suggesting improvements
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical leadership, and mentor less experienced engineers on best practices
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment efforts
• Maintain documentation as needed to support development efforts
• Participate actively in team ceremonies (planning, grooming, demos, retrospectives)
