What will you do?

Manage large Customer projects or work packages of very large projects (Category A) that involve more software, more services, and more sustainability. You will lead the project team (10 people) to deliver full customer satisfaction and financial performance, delegating sub‑projects to PMs. You will rely on PMO expertise and a document manager to drive project KPIs, focusing on stakeholder management and guiding the team. You will manage the relationship with the customer and third parties, ensure execution in line with the contract, and act as a sales agent for the OPEX service portfolio. As a Senior Project Manager for a dedicated VIP client, you will manage a portfolio of solution‑execution VIP projects (Category B/A), mentor Project Managers, and be overall P&L responsible, ensuring consistency across all projects in terms of management, scope, and communication.

Key responsibilities / activities
  • Set an execution strategy at the start of the project and implement it throughout the lifetime of the project.
  • Organise and manage the project team and suppliers, monitoring progress against the project plan (scope, schedule, and budget) to completion.
  • Ensure effective communication within the team for optimal coordination and motivation.
  • Protect Schneider Electric interests within the contractual framework until the end of contractual obligations.
  • Monitor, control and report project execution status, progress and KPIs; provide full and effective reporting to management, including project reviews, risk escalation reviews, and alerts about events impacting performance or governance.
  • Perform regular risk and opportunity assessments and implement action plans to mitigate risks and maximise opportunities.
  • Develop customer intimacy (including end‑user, if applicable) and drive all communication with the customer.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle and prepare the ground for future business.
  • Strategically capture additional business for Schneider Electric, directly or indirectly related to the project, especially digital and Service offerings.
  • Take full accountability and control over project profitability (sales, margin & cash), including forecasting and timely revenue recognition.
  • Ensure compliance with Schneider‑Electric processes, quality instructions and governance principles; take corrective actions for any deviations or quality issues.
  • Collaborate closely with Service teams to identify, develop and address additional Service CAPEX and OPEX opportunities (including cybersecurity services).
  • Contribute to the PM Community of Practice within the Execution Center and globally.
  • Identify, formalise, share and promote lessons learned and best practices.
  • Maintain strong monitoring of HSE policy for all team members and sub‑contractors, especially for site activities and travel.
  • Manage cybersecurity risk and actions linked to cybersecurity, including cyberbadge for all team members and suppliers.
  • Act as mentor within the Application Center PM team.
  • Ensure Customer and Segment team satisfaction, profitability of all projects in the portfolio for the dedicated VIP client, and successful project execution and control.
  • Collaborate closely with the Segment team to identify and contribute to the project pipeline and set‑up.
  • Compile experience from first‑of‑a‑kind solutions and apply best practices to subsequent projects.
  • Provide senior‑level customer interface when needed.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • PMI Certificate.
  • English – advanced / fluent; Portuguese – fluent; Spanish – advanced / fluent.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience managing Data Center Projects.
  • Experience in tendering (offer) – a plus.
  • Cross‑functional and cross‑border experience.
  • Strong communication skills, effective in a cross‑cultural environment.
  • Proven leadership skills in a project context, able to focus on business despite stress and headwinds.
  • Ability to understand, influence and convince stakeholders in a complex matrix organisation.
  • Strong internal and external networking to develop additional business.
  • Good digital background and awareness of EcoStruxure‑tailored solutions to customers.
  • Capability to act as a top sales agent and to bring additional business to Schneider Electric.
