Dow has an opportunity for a Senior Payroll Specialist located in São Paulo (Brazil), responsible to manage payroll process for Latin America with focus in Brazil Operation.
Main Responsibilities
- Implements and delivers end-to-end solutions in assigned discipline(s) to deliver a best-in-class employee experience.
- Supports program development related to their area(s) of expertise to improve the employee experience, balanced with function-specific needs and drivers.
- Develops and manages project plans to coordinate payroll activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution of payroll processes.
- Engages with third party providers to establish, develop, and review the suite of services in assigned discipline(s).
- Addresses escalated HR inquiries and reviewer / approver of transactions, as applicable.
- Provides information and insights to Team Leaders to continuously improve Knowledge Base and Case Management content for their assigned discipline(s).
- Must be able to support and guide employees and managers and guarantee the correct flow of data between HR disciplines to payroll, focus on continuous improvements.
- Be able to work under time pressure and in an analytical way, getting opportunities to improve our process documenting all steps necessary to run payroll for Brazil.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related areas.
- Payroll knowledge process, calculations, and documentation; required to keep process document for any Payroll Activity performed in Brazil in our global database (documentation must be in English).
- Understand time data entry and data flow since received from Time Attendance specialist and its respective calculation in payroll system.
- Be able to resolve technical issues and provide orientation to global team for issues resolution related to Payroll process / projects.
- Be able to work with massive data collection and processing.
- Understand data process flow and requirements based on a global master data Workday.
- Be able to support Latin America employees in case of urgent matters replacing another team member as necessary, even payroll representatives.
- Esocial knowledge and its interactions with different disciplines (EHS, T&A, WFA (Workforce Administration) and compensation).
- MS Office is required at an advanced level, to be able to manage metrics, calculations, and analysis.
- Advanced or Fluent English in verbal and written communications is required to support operations in LA, contact with Global team and international payroll vendor.
Regular meeting in English or Spanish will be required.
