The Role

The Sales Acceleration and Complex Solutioning (SA&CS) team at Kyndryl is committed to creating a client focused culture, working with Sellers to develop compelling proposals with key messaging to help our customers realize the value Kyndryl can provide as their solution provider. Our objective is to help ensure these proposals are successful and win in the marketplace. The team supports sellers through their deal pursuits (solicited, unsolicited and RFx) from deal identification through signing.

The Orders and Amendments Senior Lead will play a key role in the proposal process by managing the intake, triage, distribution and reporting for RFx documents sourced from external solicitation portals. They will own the process and ensure other Orders and Amendments work by peers is being managed successfully.

This role will work directly with the sales community to identify, triage and distribute relevant opportunities that Kyndryl may choose to participate in, potentially generating additional revenue for Kyndryl. Responsibilities include reviewing opportunities for fit with Kyndryl offerings, triage of opportunities with Kyndryl Canada Public Sector teams, ordering and downloading bid documents upon request. Once ordered, this resource will monitor the opportunities for amendments and ensure amendments are distributed and added to the appropriate SharePoint folder. This role will also manage all reporting related to the portals management process, developing reports and insights on where we are bidding and winning, and providing recommendations for automation and continuous improvement to the process.

Additionally, the Orders and Amendments Senior Lead will participate in the creation of response documents and prepare content for reuse. Participation in these activities will increase as innovation and improvements are introduced to the role.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the team and processes for search of external bid solicitation portals and monitor the proposals ID to identify, distribute and inform relevant sales teams of opportunities (approximately 1800 opportunities across all portals and our proposal inbox per week).
  • Order and download bid documents from Portals and share with sales requesters.
  • Monitor ordered opportunities for amendments, upload amendment documents to the relevant SharePoint folder and inform the deal team members.
  • Act as point of contact for Seller Community to monitor for upcoming opportunities and/or amendments that are expected to be published.
  • Participate in modernization of workflows in Velocity and identify further automation and modernization initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver statistics and reporting to public sector sales and SA&CS leadership.
  • Work with Sales Acceleration Leads for opportunities requiring additional solutioning or proposal support.
  • Maintain portals instructions document on behalf of the portals team.
  • Investigate and initiate subscriptions to new portals on request.
  • Facilitate renewal of annual subscriptions.
  • Manage and maintain customized Federal and Provincial distribution lists.
  • Maintain Locked ID / PW Credentials document for all external portals where RFx documents may be housed (approximately 35 alternate portals).
Additional Responsibilities
  • Create proposal response documents, develop and integrate content into proposals using approved materials and Co‑pilot to provide 1st draft materials to sellers.
  • Perform all document formatting for consistent look using Kyndryl design principles.
  • Upload completed documents directly to the customer repositories as required, with opportunity owner signoff and oversight.
