Our client is a leading innovator in fintech systems, seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead who can drive the development of secure, scalable, and real-time payment processing solutions.

As a key member of the team, you will design, implement, and scale Java microservices that process payments, settlements, and reconciliations.This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong architecture, mentoring, and coding skills to make a significant impact on our client's business.

You will work closely with engineers, product thinkers, and compliance experts to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet the highest standards of quality, security, and reliability.We are looking for a technical leader with a proven track record in complex distributed environments, including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

Your expertise in API design, testing frameworks, CI / CD, and security principles will be invaluable in shaping our technical direction.

About the Role

Design and develop Java microservices that process payments, settlements, and reconciliations in real time. Integrate with global and local banking APIs, from SWIFT and SEPA to regional payment systems. Builtscale reliability into event-driven design (Kafka), transaction integrity, and fault-tolerant services. Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, Product, and Compliance to ensure secure, compliant systems. Shape the technical direction through code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentorship.

What You Bring

8+ years of experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud. Expertise in Kafka, PostgreSQL, and ORM tools (Hibernate, JPA, or MyBatis). Strong background in microservices, API design, and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). A solid grasp of testing frameworks, CI / CD, and security principles (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect). Experience in fintech, banking integrations, or payment systems is a strong advantage. Fluent in English, collaborative by nature, and comfortable leading by doing.
