A leading consultancy is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a remote role based around Brazil (±3 GMT). The position involves designing and optimizing AWS-based cloud infrastructure, building Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, and developing CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and automation tools, contributing to a major cloud transformation for a global organization in the aviation sector. This is a 12-month contract, offering €200 per day.

Qualificações

• Experience designing and optimizing AWS-based infrastructure.
• Strong familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools.
• Proficient in developing CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling.

I'm partnering with a leading consultancy delivering a large-scale Cloud, DevOps & Data transformation for a major global organisation in the aviation sector.

We’re expanding multiple engineering teams and are now hiring Senior DevOps Engineers and Senior Site Reliability Engineers to support the next phase of the programme.

This initiative focuses on building a high-availability, globally distributed platform, modernising infrastructure, improving automation, and raising operational reliability standards across mission‑critical aviation systems.

Skills & Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and optimise AWS‑based cloud infrastructure; lead cloud migrations and define long‑term cloud strategy.

Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, YAML) and administer Linux / Windows systems.

Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, GitHub Actions) and automation tooling with Python.

Monitor and troubleshoot distributed systems using Grafana or Prometheus.

Ensure networking, security, and reliability: TCP / IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, load balancers, certificate management, and compliance.
