As a Contract Engineer in an early‑stage, high‑growth company, you will significantly impact technical implementation and help steer our technology roadmap.

What You’ll Get to Do

• Help drive backend architecture evolution for Roofr’s systems.
• Work in a cross‑functional team that prioritizes quality engineering practices.
• Contribute to an early‑stage company with an engineering‑first culture.
• Contribute to all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from planning to delivery.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional team members to develop technical requirements.
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications and reusable libraries.
• Write unit, functional, and acceptance tests.
• Troubleshoot and support production applications.

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency with PHP language and the Laravel framework.
