Our Client and Managed Services team provides essential middle office support, leveraging advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency and data quality for clients.

As part of this team, your role will help connect investment professionals in the Asset & Wealth Management industry with FactSet's platform, utilizing finance and technical knowledge to facilitate client research and analysis processes. You will become an expert in the FactSet Core Analytics product suite (Performance, Fixed Income, or Risk Analytics), collaborating with diverse stakeholders such as client representatives, sales, product specialists, and engineers.

What You’ll Do

You will be a key point of support for our clients, helping them make the most of FactSet solutions, while developing strong working relationships with clients of varying backgrounds. You will learn about our clients' business needs and provide advice, guidance, and training as appropriate. The main goal is to deliver accurate and reliable performance, risk, and fixed‑income analytics, ensuring each step of the calculation workflow – from data input to result delivery – is handled effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Stay informed about asset management trends, industry principles, and best practices to support strategic solution development.
  • Collaborate with internal cross‑functional teams (Consulting, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Strategy) and client stakeholders to implement, optimize, and support managed services and solution projects.
  • Analyze complex business challenges related to client investment portfolios, financial data, and workflows, providing actionable insights and intricate analyses (e.g., performance attribution, risk calculations).
  • Gather and understand client requirements to resolve specific business issues and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Support and execute client production processes, including data investigations, software testing, validation of calculation logic, and operational workflows.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for both clients and internal teams, offering timely client support, product training, and system customization.
  • Prepare and present Proof of Concepts (POCs), while clearly communicating about product features and project status.
  • Assist in quality assurance, enrich internal documentation, and contribute to ongoing product improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and apply technical skills (e.g., SQL, VBA, Python) relevant to project needs.
  • Participate in various project work, including implementation, managed services, consulting, and process changes, to drive successful outcomes for clients.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant field (such as capital markets, portfolio management, or financial instruments).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, functions, and data visualization.
  • Basic experience with SQL queries and database structures.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Desired Skills
  • Professional background in Asset Management, including experience with Performance Measurement & Attribution, Risk Management, Business Intelligence, Quantitative Solutions, or Reporting.
  • Knowledge of financial instrument pricing, including derivatives (Options, Futures, Swaps).
  • Technical skills with software applications; proficiency in Python and / or database management is a plus.
  • Interest or experience in working with software, data, and analytics.
  • Customer‑oriented mindset.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking abilities, and interpersonal skills with a commitment to fostering a supportive team environment.
  • CFA, CIPM, FRM certification or progress toward such credentials.
