Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) teams. This role focuses on facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring high-quality, predictable delivery across SFCC implementation and ongoing support initiatives (Run + Grow).
The ideal candidate has strong eCommerce domain expertise, can effectively coach cross-functional teams, and ensures alignment with organizational governance, security, and compliance standards.
Required Experience & Skills
- 8+ years in Agile delivery
- 5+ years as a Scrum Master supporting web / eCommerce teams
- Hands‑on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC / SFRA) or comparable enterprise eCommerce platforms
- Proven ability to improve velocity predictability, reduce defect leakage, and manage dependencies
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Agile metrics, and scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, or pragmatic multi‑team coordination)
- Proficiency with Jira (boards, filters, dashboards), Confluence (documentation), CI / CD awareness (Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), Scrum certifications : CSM or PSM I / PSM II
- Solid eCommerce domain knowledge :
- Catalog, pricing, promotions
- Checkout, payments, tax, shipping, returns
- Order Management Systems (OMS)
Key Responsibilities
Agile Delivery & Facilitation
- Lead Agile ceremonies: daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews / demos, retrospectives
- Partner with Product Owners to prioritize backlogs, refine user stories, and define sprint goals
- Track sprint health (capacity, velocity, burndown / burnup) and manage scope
- Identify and remove impediments (dependencies, environments, test data, approvals)
- Coordinate cross‑team dependencies (SFCC, integrations, OMS, payments, SEO / content, analytics)
- Promote flow efficiency by limiting WIP and reducing blockers
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
- Provide clear, timely status reporting (velocity trends, sprint summaries, risks, mitigations)
- Facilitate effective demos to showcase business value and gather early feedback
- Ensure alignment with governance, security, compliance, PCI, accessibility, and change management
Coaching & Continuous Improvement
- Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum best practices
- Facilitate retrospectives with measurable outcomes and follow‑through
- Foster a culture of psychological safety, accountability, and outcome‑driven delivery
Project Leadership
- Manage SFCC B2C implementation, migration, and enhancement projects end‑to‑end
- Define scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables aligned with business goals
Planning & Execution
- Develop project plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure quality and timeline adherence
Team Coordination
- Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, UX / UI teams, and third‑party vendors
- Ensure SFCC best practices across development and integrations
Technical Oversight
- Understand SFCC B2C architecture and APIs (OCAPI, SCAPI)
- Support integrations with payment gateways, OMS, CRM, and enterprise systems
- Work with SFCC Business Manager configurations as needed
