A consulting firm is looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Developer based in Brazil to support global IBP implementation. You will develop and maintain custom ABAP programs and build integrations within SAP ECC. The role requires at least 5 years of ABAP experience, particularly in IBP and Finance projects. Excellent communication in English and collaborative skills are essential. This is a remote position with a contracted duration starting January 5th, lasting for 3 months with potential extension.

Senior SAP ABAP Developer (IBP / Finance Focus) Project : IBP Rollout

Contract Duration : Start date 5th of January - 3 months + possible extension

Location : Remote but must be based in Brazil

Start Date : 4th of January

Workload : 5 days / week

Language : English and Portuguese

Seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to support its global IBP (Integrated Business Planning) implementation across Europe, North and South America. The consultant will replace an outgoing developer and play a key role in building and maintaining interfaces, enhancements, and integrations within the SAP ECC environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs, function modules, BADIs, BAPIs, and iDOCs
• Design and implement integrations between SAP ECC and middleware tools (e.g., Workado)
• Build custom tables and data interfaces to support IBP and Finance streams
• Collaborate with functional teams, integration leads, and other developers across regions
• Support performance optimization, troubleshooting, and documentation of technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with SAP development standards

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience (ECC environment)
• Proven experience in IBP and Finance integration projects
• Strong understanding of data interfaces and integration frameworks (iDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, BADIs)
• Familiarity with middleware systems (Workado or similar)
• Experience supporting international, multi-region SAP environments
• Excellent English communication and team collaboration skills

Nice to Have

• Exposure to SAP S / 4HANA (awareness level acceptable) Not mandatory
• Previous experience in manufacturing / industrial sectors
