A global leader in marine services seeks a Sales Development Representative to generate inside sales leads. The successful candidate will contact prospective customers, explain products, and work closely with Account Managers to enhance business growth. Strong communication skills and a Bachelor’s degree are required, along with 1 to 3 years of related experience. This role demands fluency in English and is focused on developing long-term relationships to improve customer satisfaction.
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for inside sales lead generation.
The SDR is tasked with sourcing sales leads that support and enhance ABS businesses.
In order to ensure success, the SDR will use multiple methods of sourcing and partner with the various business development team members and leaders to accomplish broader goals.
The SDR will provide input to marketing and operations on go‑to‑market plans, improving customer interaction / satisfaction, expanding to new markets, and improving financial performance.
Requires a Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent.
One (1) to three (3) years of related experience preferred.
Ability to quickly gain knowledge of specified products and services to be sold.
Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services (marketing strategy, product demonstration, sales techniques).
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services (needs assessment, meeting quality standards, evaluating satisfaction).
Entrepreneurial mentality that enables the incumbent to recognize and capitalize on new business opportunities.
Ability to assess reasonableness and likelihood of success of various business scenarios.
Commitment to ethical business practices in accordance with ABS Operating Principles and Mission.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to speak well in group and client‑facing environments.
Fluent English for professional communication.
Knowledge of ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems.
Reports to a manager‑level position or above; has no direct reports.
