What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Provide field access support services and education to healthcare professionals to maximize patient access to company products
  • Communicate with specialty and closed-door pharmacies to support marketed products in the U.S.
  • Build and uphold the integrity of the pharmacy distribution network through vetting activities
  • Train healthcare professionals on payer-specific coverage policies and patient financial assistance programs
  • Monitor processes and propose new strategies related to workflow and specialty distribution efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • BS/BA degree in a related field AND 6+ years of pharma/biotech commercial experience, with 2+ years in specialty pharmacy/market access
  • Strong understanding of specialty pharmacies, managed care, and pharmacy benefit managers
  • Excellent knowledge of patient support programs, reimbursement support, and adherence programs
  • Ability to communicate payer coverage criteria and prior authorization processes
  • Willingness to travel overnight up to 60%
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred AND 4+ years of related experience
  • PharmD or PhD with 2+ years of related experience
  • Previous experience in sales, management, marketing, or managed markets within pharma/biotech
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines
  • Excellent analytical thinking and interpersonal skills
