What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Provide field access support services and education to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to maximize patient access to the employer's products
  • Communicate with Specialty Pharmacies (SPs) and Patient-Physician Services to support marketed products
  • Conduct vetting activities for the pharmacy distribution network and maintain its integrity
  • Educate HCPs on payer-specific coverage policies and patient financial assistance programs
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve patient access issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • BS/BA degree in a related field AND 6+ years of pharma/biotech commercial experience, with 2+ years in specialty pharmacy/market access
  • Strong understanding of specialty pharmacies, managed care, and pharmacy benefit managers
  • Excellent working knowledge of patient support programs and reimbursement support
  • Ability to communicate payer coverage criteria and prior authorization processes
  • Willingness to travel overnight up to 60%
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred AND 4+ years of related experience
  • Previous experience in other functions in pharma/biotech such as sales, management, or marketing
  • Strong reputation in the company relating to the area of expertise
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
