Software Engineer (React.js)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using React.js and related technologies.
• Implement reusable UI components and design systems that align with brand and accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and data models.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable JavaScript/TypeScript code.
• Optimize application performance and ensure responsive, cross-browser compatibility.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning sessions.
• Stay current with emerging front-end trends, frameworks, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of professional experience in front-end software development.
• 2-4 years of hands‑on experience with React.js and the modern React ecosystem (Hooks, Context API, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or Sass).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs or GraphQL integrations.
• Version control experience using Git and CI/CD workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Next.js, Redux Toolkit, or other state‑management libraries.
• Understanding of front‑end testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
• Knowledge of performance optimization and accessibility (WCAG) best practices.
• Experience working with design systems or component libraries (e.g., MUI, Chakra UI, shadcn/ui).
• Familiarity with backend technologies (Node.js, Express, or serverless architectures).
• Prior experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
