Position Summary
The Product Specialist supports the commercial execution of the Interventional product portfolio across Brazil and select LATAM markets. This position is based in Sao Paulo and works closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure the tactical success of marketing initiatives, product launches, and field support. The role involves providing technical, clinical, and commercial expertise to drive product awareness, adoption, and revenue growth.
Principal Responsibilities
- Serve as a product expert to support frontline sales, distributors, and clinical customers.
- Build strong and positive relationships with Cath Lab staff, physicians, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support brand positioning, gather insights, and strengthen market presence.
- Deliver product presentations, in-service training, and post-sale support across the region.
- Develop and execute demand generation strategies to drive customer engagement, increase qualified leads, and support sales growth.
- Assist in the creation and localization of marketing materials, campaigns, and product documentation.
- Manage tender responses, product cross-referencing, and clinical inquiry support.
- Coordinate with Demand Planning, Regulatory, and Supply Chain to ensure continuous product availability.
- Collect and report market intelligence, including competitor activity and customer feedback.
- Represent the company in regional congresses, workshops, and events.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams on projects aligned to growth goals.
- Uphold corporate compliance and ethics in all aspects of the role.
Education / Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Life Sciences, Marketing, or Business).
- 2–4 years of experience in the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Experience supporting clinical products or interacting with healthcare professionals.
- Prior experience in Cath lab is preferred.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
- Fluent in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical product content into actionable training and messaging.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- High degree of initiative, organizational skills, and self-motivation.
- Ability to travel up to 40%, sometimes with short notice.
- Comfort in clinical environments (e.g., cath labs, operating rooms).
