Product development activities considering the legal requirements and fulfilling strictly the timing, with adequate performance and looking for the best operating cost and productivity relation, as assure the Quality and Reliability. We achieve these objectives through use of design technologies, simulation, component tests and production process technologies with close partnership with Brazilian and global suppliers.


This engineer will work directly with Product Engineering developments, focusing on NPI projects. The scope of activities includes Cabin Systems development, Continuous improvement and Cost reduction initiatives.



Responsibilities


  • Lead Engineering Development: Manage the development process for engineering projects focused on main Cabin systems, ensuring alignment with strategy, timing, and cost targets.

  • Design Excellence & Cost Optimization: Apply best design practices during development, identify, validate, and implement cost-reduction opportunities, and ensure compliance with engineering procedures before drawing release.

  • Collaboration & Technical Synergy: Coordinate with AGCO and supplier design teams, review and release 3D models as 2D drawings, and prepare production release documentation while supporting prototype acquisition and assembly.

  • Problem Analysis & Resolution: Analyze and correct issues using proper methodologies, ensuring robust solutions throughout the development cycle.

  • Documentation & Quality Assurance: Guarantee all engineering best practices are met, maintain accurate documentation for production release, and support quality standards during prototype and production phases.

Experience and Qualifications


  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering; post-graduation in a related area is considered a differential.

  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English for technical communication and documentation.

  • Technical Expertise: Experience with design and engineering procedures and techniques such as DFMEA, DFMA, DVP&R, FEA, and familiarity with BOM development and management.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Knowledge of methodologies like 8 Disciplines (8D) and/or Six Sigma for structured problem resolution.

  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding agricultural machinery is a differential for the role.
