Offer Description

The position is part of the project “Trajectories without Borders”, dedicated to the interdisciplinary investigation of contemporary refuge, with a focus on the relationship between memory, trauma, and testimony through first-person narratives. The researcher will carry out activities of collecting and analyzing qualitative data in Brazil and France, systematizing interviews, audiovisual records, and literary sources, with the aim of producing scientific knowledge and creating a public digital repository. The work combines methodologies from historiography, anthropology, clinical psychology, and post-colonial studies, seeking to contribute to the consolidation of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) – Institut Convergences Migrations/Paris (ICM) research network and to broaden the academic and social impact of the project.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of R$ 12,570.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
