Full Job Description
Senior-level advisor providing coaching and consulting throughout the employee lifecycle, focusing on engagement, performance, and compliance with local laws while aligning global P&C programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leaders in assigned business units to identify strategic and operational people needs aligned with business goals, offering coaching, advice, and support to develop and implement effective people-related solutions.
- Oversee all cyclical P&C activities for your designated business unit(s), including annual leave planning, performance evaluations, employee surveys, leadership development, and compliance training.
- Provide feedback and insights related to the business unit during the design and delivery of these programs.
- Support cyclical management processes for your assigned business unit(s), such as annual remuneration reviews, goal/KPI setting, and career discussions.
- Contribute feedback and advice relevant to the business unit during the planning of these initiatives.
- Offer ongoing coaching and support to people leaders to help them maximize talent and performance outcomes within their teams, identifying new strategies for optimization through tools, training, and feedback.
- Collaborate with P&C specialists (e.g., L&D Manager, OD Manager, Compensation Manager) to help define, design, and develop impactful OD and P&C programs, ensuring effective and consistent implementation across your business unit(s).
- Lead the P&C Advisor(s) / Coordinator(s), fostering their development and enhancing their effectiveness to maximize their contributions to the business.
- Address all employee relations matters, including performance and conduct issues, grievances, complaints, disputes, and workplace health and safety concerns within your assigned business unit(s).
- Conduct exit interviews, update documentation, and share feedback with relevant parties.
- Assist with resignation communications, including payroll and termination benefits.
- Act as a champion for our values, ensuring that any behaviors that deviate from these values are addressed promptly.
- Lead or participate in P&C projects on a regional or global scale as needed.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the P&C function and improve the overall employee experience.
- Provide reporting, analysis, and insights regarding your business units to inform decision-making and drive improvements in our people practices.
- Monitor, communicate, plan, and implement program, process, and policy updates based on local regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Oversee and manage office and facilities management tasks as directed.
Required Background and Skills
- 5-7 years of generalist experience in P&C, with direct involvement in modern P&C practices and collaboration with senior and team leaders in business advisory roles.
- Knowledge of the employee relations landscape and relevant regulations, along with a commitment to continuous learning to stay current.
- Proven skills in stakeholder engagement, management, and communication at all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
- Ability to work independently and lead others effectively to achieve results.
- Experience in dynamic, high-growth environments with a demonstrated capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize competing demands.
- Strong emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, and a customer-centric approach.
- Excellent commercial insight.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching, development, and consulting.
- Innovative, creative, and collaborative in achieving significant outcomes.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 and various HR software tools.
- International HR experience with an understanding of diverse cultures and their influence on business and HR practices, particularly in the APAC region.
