Your Role
  • Drives all Order to Payment functions (Production Planning, Production, Logistics, Maintenance, Engineering and facilities) to accomplish the challenge of delivering a world class service level to our customers.
  • Be a safety champion for the site, leading by example and driving the cultural transformation needed on our Operations.
  • Ensures that the sites comply with all corporate and applicable local, state and federal safety and food safety guidelines.
  • Builds effective teams through hiring and development of direct reports, using performance management techniques including feedback, coaching, mentoring, rewards and recognition when appropriate.
  • Identifies and establishes goals and metrics that drive improvement and reflect and enhance Company initiatives and standards.
  • Holds direct reports accountable for performance vs. metrics.
  • Manages daily staffing and balances production capability and customer need to effectively ensure customer satisfaction and manage costs.
  • Define the CAPEX priorities of the sites and further execute them with high-quality delivery (on scope, on time, on budget).
  • Champions and fosters commitment by all levels of the organization on the Operational Excellence Program, helping to increase the continuous improvement culture.
  • Review, together with VP Supply Chain LATAM, the site Masterplan, in order to anticipate future growth demands, assuring clarity and the correct resource allocation in the region.
  • Create a roadmap for operational excellence journey within Brazil and support the LATAM region.
About You
  • First Degree or equivalent in Engineering
  • Ability to develop winning strategies / plans, Understand functional interfaces, Aligns team for action against key priorities
  • Key skills include project / service management, effective communication and selling / negotiation and influencing skills at all levels within the business and demonstrated thought leadership
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing dynamic and challenging environment
  • Ability to explain comex technical issues / solutions to a non-technical audience
  • Team Player, self-starter, self-motivating - able to deal with uncertainty and complexity
  • Strong knowledge required in Supply Chain and manufacturing Operations programs
  • Fluent in English
  • Spanish desirable
