A leading offshore construction firm in Brazil is seeking experienced Offshore Survey Professionals for a long-term deepwater offshore construction project. Candidates must be Brazilian nationals and possess technical expertise in positioning systems, survey operations, and data processing. Responsibilities include supporting offshore construction tasks and ensuring high-quality positioning data. This is an 18-month rotational assignment commencing September 2026, ideal for those with a strong focus on QHSE standards and teamwork.

Qualificações

• Experience with deepwater offshore construction support.
• Proficient in calibration and operation of GNSS systems.
• Strong understanding of survey and sensor systems.

Responsabilidades

• Support offshore construction projects with deepwater survey tasks.
• Conduct installation vessel subsea positioning and interventions.
• Perform ROV pre-lay and as-laid surveys for subsea assets.

Offshore Survey Personnel – Deepwater Construction Support (Brazil)

We are recruiting experienced Offshore Survey Professionals to support a long-term deepwater offshore construction project in Brazil.

18-month rotational assignment, commencing September 2026

Nationality Requirement

Only Brazilian nationals will be considered due to location.

Scope of Work

• Deepwater offshore construction support
• Installation vessel subsea positioning and intervention support
• ROV pre-lay and as-laid surveys for newly installed subsea assets

Required Technical Experience

Positioning and Navigation Systems

• GNSS (Veripos) – calibration and operation
• ROV INS/DVL (SPRINTNAV)
• LBL systems, including:
  • Conventional LBL
  • Range-aiding LBL
  • Sonardyne Fusion2

Survey and Sensor Systems

• MBES operations using dual-head Teledyne T50
• Pipe tracker operations (TSS440)

Survey Software

• ROV survey positioning and data acquisition using EIVA NaviPac and NaviScan
• Basic data processing and reporting using EIVA NaviEdit and NaviModel
• Video recording, archiving, and review using VisualSoft

Pipeline and Subsea Survey Knowledge

• Pipeline survey eventing
• Understanding of engineering event coding
• Ability to recognise all pipeline events and subsea items
• Provide accurate position and attitude fixes for subsea structures

Professional Requirements

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary offshore team
• Accurate and detailed survey log keeping
• Strong focus on positioning data quality
• High awareness of QHSE requirements and best practices
