A leading IT services company in Brazil is seeking an Environment Operations Consultant to manage Murex software deployments and provide support for client projects. Responsibilities include performance checks, database management, and collaboration with project teams. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Computer Science, at least 2 years of Murex environment management experience, and strong technical skills in SQL, UNIX, and scripting. English proficiency at a B2 level is required.

Qualificações

Responsibilities

Environment Operations Consultant

Environment deployment and Management Operations

• Deploy and manage Murex Software needed for Murex client projects using Murex tools and scripts.
• Perform basic smoke tests before delivering the needed products.
• Act as a first-level support for already deployed Murex products, re‑directing and following the issues with the corresponding support teams.
• Performing system health checks and diagnostics (RAM, CPU, processes, etc.) to ensure optimal performance and uptime
• Automating routine tasks

Conversion of a customer database

• Perform database sanitization and purging procedures
• Migration sequence execution and stabilization

Setting Methodologies and Procedures

• Contribute to creating the environment and configuration management methodologies, conversion processes, communication workflows, and needed templates and documentation
• Customize and document the installation and the conversion / upgrade procedures
• Deliver needed training and best practices for Murex Clients and project teams
• Manage internal streams : contribute to creating tools, measure related KPIs, and analyze potential issues

Collaboration

• Ensures good collaboration with the project team
• Ensures good collaboration with customer

Capitalization

• Capitalizes on issues not related to a specific client
• Contributes to product evolution (feedback to product teams, follow‑up on defects and issues)

Technical Skills

• Degree in Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology Engineering (or related discipline)
• Experience with scripting languages
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of technical machine specifications
• Knowledge of XML manipulations
• Knowledge of UNIX Operations with hands‑on expertise in command‑line operations
• Knowledge of RDMS Operations
• Understanding of the Financial markets

Skills must have :

• Strong working knowledge of Murex Configuration and Environment management
• Strong knowledge of scheduler software (e.g. Tidal, Autosys, JAMS, ...etc.)
• Good understanding of MXTest
• Good product knowledge / understanding in IRD, CRD, EQD, FXD
• Good understanding of Workflows, Operations, Fixings process, Confirmations, and Trade Life Cycle
• Strong functional and technical understanding of Murex
• Good knowledge of the different post‑trade interactions between the various actors of capital markets including service providers

Must :

• previous experience, min 2yrs, with Murex Environment management
• MXTest Module (a plus)
• Must have strong personality, logical and analytical skills
• Be detailed‑oriented, a quick learner and self‑starter
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills
• Must have strong organization skillsGood SQL, Unix , Scripting , Sybase and Oracle skills
