Regional Operations Expert
We are seeking an experienced Regional Operations Expert to oversee daily operations in a specified region.
This role requires strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑Day Operations Management: Manage day‑to‑day operational activities within the assigned region, including workforce scheduling, issue resolution, and performance tracking.
- Performance Monitoring: Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, order fulfillment accuracy, on‑time delivery, and safety metrics for the 3PL workforce.
- Workforce Oversight: Collaborate with 3PL site and shift managers to ensure the workforce is adequately staffed, trained, and performing according to contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and internal company standards.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and service failures by coordinating with 3PL partners and internal teams.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives at a regional level, focusing on optimizing warehouse processes, workforce efficiency, and cost reduction in collaboration with 3PLs.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular operational audits and site visits to ensure 3PL operations meet all quality, safety, and compliance standards.
- Communication & Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication between 3PL partners and internal stakeholders, including Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams, to align on operational goals.
- Reporting: Prepare and deliver performance reports and operational updates to senior management, highlighting regional performance, challenges, and action plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations management.
Skillset
- Operational Expertise: Deep understanding of logistics operations, including picking, packing, and shipping.
- Food delivery experience as a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, interpret KPIs, and identify trends to drive operational improvements.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and internal teams.
- Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail.
