Overview

Position Summary

You will oversee and drive HR team operations, develop and track critical HR KPIs, manage compensation strategies, support talent acquisition and retention, and ensure HR best practices are implemented across all regions and entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic HR Leadership — Serve as a senior resource to the Executive team by delivering HR KPIs, trends, and actionable insights. Develop, monitor, and continuously improve HR metrics, including turnover, retention, and engagement. Own weekly and monthly HR reporting.
  • Team Management & Development — Lead and mentor the HR team, ensuring consistency in process implementation across all regions and projects. Conduct weekly planning and retrospective meetings. Hold 1:1 meetings with team members to support career development, motivation, and relationship management. Facilitate team-building activities and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Performance & People Management — Ensure 1:1s are regularly conducted by HR team members and Project Managers (PM). Oversee and track the effectiveness of HR and PM performance interactions. Partner with Staffing Managers, PMs, and Account Managers to ensure team alignment and employee satisfaction.
  • Compensation & Market Benchmarking — Monitor compensation levels, aligning them with market trends and Zazmic’s financial objectives. Partner with the Head of Recruitment, Regional General Manager, and Finance team to discuss regional differences and salary trends. Conduct annual market benchmarking in collaboration with external partners (e.g., HR Ways). Monitor monthly. Maintain accurate compensation analytics in our people management system.
  • Recruitment & Retention — Collaborate with the Head of Recruitment to refine and execute hiring and retention strategies. Meet regularly with team leads to assess recruiting outcomes and talent needs. Lead the organization and communication of the monthly Rate Review Committee.
  • Process Improvement & Systems Management — Identify and implement opportunities for HR process enhancements. Oversee people management system implementation, evolution, and maintenance. Ensure personnel data is managed securely and according to policy. Ensure personnel data is accessed according to Zazmic’s policy.
  • Internal Communication & Engagement — Partner with the Internal Communication and Global Engagement team to ensure timely communication of HR initiatives. Promote a positive work culture through transparency and collaboration.
  • Collaboration with Leadership — Participate in strategic meetings with executives and regional GMs to align on retention, regional challenges, and project updates. Conduct regular 1:1s with senior leaders to gather feedback and drive improvements across teams.
  • General HR Operations — Support employee life cycle changes and system updates. Assist in performance reviews and special HR-related projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in tech or remote-first environments.
  • Strong knowledge of HR analytics, KPIs, and systems (experience with ZOHO is a plus).
  • Proven experience managing distributed HR teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with global teams.
  • USD 2,600/month (PJ)
