Your role

Are you a lawyer with experience in structured lending and financing transactions? Do you have a strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks applicable to the Brazilian financial, banking and capital markets?

We’re looking for a legal professional to:

• support our Global Lending Unit team with legal advice on structured lending and financing transactions;
• work closely with the Equity Derivatives team on matters involving structured products and financing solutions;
• review and draft lending agreements, guarantee agreements, and other legal documents;
• help ensure compliance with local and international regulations;
• collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to support deal execution;
• experience or familiarity with judicial recovery and bankruptcy procedures is a plus.

Your team

You’ll be part of the UBS Legal team in São Paulo, Brazil, supporting the Global Lending Unit. We work closely with business and legal colleagues across regions to deliver practical, high-quality legal advice and ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.

Your expertise

• 3+ years of experience in legal roles related to lending, financing, and guarantees;
• background in finance, banking, or capital markets;
• knowledge of Brazilian financial regulations and cross-border legal matters;
• admitted to the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB);
• fluent in Portuguese and English;
• strong communication and drafting skills.
