As a Junior Accounting Analyst at PTW, you will assist in managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
You will work closely with the accounting team to support day-to-day financial operations, including data entry, reconciliations, and preparing financial statements.
Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance with financial regulations and to provide accurate financial information to stakeholders.
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately.
Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
Review expenses, payroll records, etc., as assigned.
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed.
Prepare and submit weekly / monthly reports.
Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly / yearly closings.
Participate in other accounting projects as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in Accounting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Excellent organizing abilities and attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Active registration with the Regional Accounting Council (CRC).
Experience with other accounting software is a plus.
