Overview

Are you a driven and people-oriented professional, eager to grow in a commercial role? At Givaudan, we are looking for a Junior Account Manager to develop and nurture our presence across the Brazilian markets, bringing delightful scent experiences to consumers and customers alike.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on client engagement with long-term business development, in a role where learning agility, attitude and potential are as important as experience.

You will report to the Consumer Product Commercial Director, and will be based in Sao Paulo; working four days onsite and one from home a week.

Responsibilities
  • Drive growth by managing a portfolio of local clients and opening new opportunities in diverse segments, from small family businesses to larger corporate customers.
  • Build and strengthen relationships, acting as both an external ambassador and an internal connector to mobilize resources and materialize new business.
  • Develop and execute tailored business plans for targeted accounts, balancing prospection and client care and development.
  • Be on the ground with customers – visiting, listening, identifying needs, and translating them into value-adding solutions.
  • Lead commercial projects end-to-end, monitoring progress to increase win rates and aligning with cross-functional teams (marketing, innovation, supply chain) for smooth execution.
  • Ensure full compliance with Givaudan’s policies, EHS standards, and regulatory requirements.
Your professional profile
  • Bachelors or Master degree in business administration, economics, marketing, or chemistry.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting sales teams, being familiar with business routines and contact with clients.
  • Market understanding of trends in Fragrances.
  • Hunting behavior for new clients and new business.
  • Develops basic Account Plans, incorporating comprehensive customer knowledge and analysis
  • Fluency in English is required.
