Remote IT Recruiter – Focus on US & Canadian Market | Long-Term Opportunity

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for IT roles: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate management
  • Collaborate closely with clients in the US and Canada to understand their hiring needs and deliver suitable candidates
  • Proactively source and engage IT professionals via platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.
  • Conduct technical screenings with candidates, leveraging your own coding knowledge to ask and understand programming-related questions
  • Coordinate interviews and guide candidates through each stage of the hiring process
  • Maintain and update candidate records in our database/ATS

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken (C1 level or higher)
  • Solid experience in IT recruiting, ideally in international markets
  • Hands-on coding experience (e.g., C#, Java, Python, or similar) and the ability to understand and evaluate technical discussions with candidates
  • Familiarity with tech roles, programming languages, and sourcing tools (e.g., ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter)
  • A structured and independent working style, strong communication skills
  • Experience working remotely is a plus

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving our growth. As a key member of our Talent Acquisition team, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and closing top-tier tech talent across the Americas. You will be instrumental in understanding the intricacies of the US tech market, building strong relationships with candidates and clients, and meeting aggressive hiring targets, including sourcing at least one qualified candidate per open position.

Requirement:

  • Talent Acquisition:
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Source, screen, and assess technical candidates across various technology domains, including software engineering, data science, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies, leveraging various channels like job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Conduct basic technical screening to evaluate candidates' skills and cultural fit when needed.
  • Negotiate competitive compensation packages and close deals efficiently.
  • Proven track record of successfully recruiting technical talent, particularly in the US market.
  • Strong understanding of the US tech industry, including emerging technologies and trends.
  • Manage and mentor a team of 2-3 technical recruiters.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their recruitment skills.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Implement innovative recruitment tools and technologies to streamline the hiring process. Proficiency in using Custom recruitment tools and technologies (e.g., ATS, CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive continuous process optimization and efficiency gains.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and business leaders to understand their hiring needs.
  • Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and proactively address any challenges.
  • Collaborate with the CTO to align recruitment strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Reporting and Analytics:
  • Prepare detailed daily reports on recruitment activities, bottlenecks, and performance metrics.
  • Take ownership of recruitment failures and propose effective remediation strategies.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to optimize recruitment efforts.
