MISSION
Lead and oversee all logistics operations in Brazil — including warehousing, inventory management, and distribution — ensuring safety, quality, and operational excellence. Act as a key connection between local teams and the global Supply Chain organization, driving continuous improvement, alignment with global strategies, and compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure a safe work environment by promoting a proactive safety culture, full compliance with regulations, and adherence to company HSE policies.
- Guarantee product quality and integrity throughout the logistics flow, ensuring compliance with global and local quality standards.
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering engagement, accountability, and high performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, service level, and cost efficiency.
- Oversee warehouse organization, inventory control, and material flow to ensure high accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance indicators (KPIs), identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Implement Lean and Operational Excellence methodologies to standardize processes and eliminate waste.
- Ensure compliance with all internal procedures, audits, and applicable legal requirements.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, discipline, and ownership across all levels of the operation.
- Coordinate the annual physical inventory and cycle count program, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
- Manage logistics budgets, ensuring cost optimization and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Planning, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Finance, HSE, and Quality) to ensure seamless end-to-end operations.
- Participate in global and regional logistics meetings to share results, best practices, and strategic plans.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
- Advanced or Fluent English – frequent interaction with global teams and stakeholders.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven leadership experience in warehouse and inventory operations within medium or large companies.
- Strong background in logistics operations, process optimization, and performance management.
- Demonstrated leadership in Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement .
- Experience working in multinational environments and leading large operational teams.
- Proficiency in SAP, WMS systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) .
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
