A global travel technology firm is seeking a Flight Business Development Manager for the Americas to establish and enhance partnerships with travel agencies, airlines, and enterprises. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in business development and a robust understanding of the travel industry. Proficiency in English and Spanish is required, with additional language skills as an advantage. This position involves regular travel across North and South America and offers an opportunity to drive significant business growth.

Qualificações

Position Title

Flight Business Development Manager – Americas

Reports to

Regional Director

Purpose

The Business Development Manager's primary responsibility is to establish and enhance partnerships between PKFARE and its buyers and suppliers in the North and South America Region.

Participation in main trade shows globally will enhance business opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and expand business across the Americas region, including North and South America, by establishing partnerships with global travel agencies, OTAs, airlines, enterprises, and other institutions.
  • Actively identify and engage potential buyers, suppliers, and airline partners to drive continuous business growth across the region.
  • Maintain strong, long‑term relationships with existing buyers, suppliers, and airlines to ensure stable cooperation and mutual trust.
  • Conduct regular partner visits, understand evolving needs, and adjust strategies to enhance loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Lead and coordinate cross‑functional business initiatives throughout the Americas, promoting local market expansion and driving regional business synergies.
  • Collaborate closely with the growth and PR teams to execute branding and promotional campaigns that enhance the company's visibility and market influence.
  • Participate in business negotiations, assist in contract preparation and signing, and ensure successful execution and ongoing management of agreements.
  • Facilitate technical integration and communication between partners and internal teams, resolving issues to ensure seamless cooperation and implementation.
  • Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis within the Americas to provide insights and support data‑driven strategic decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management in airline, OTA or travel trade industries.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; proficiency in Portuguese or Chinese is a strong advantage.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing partners across the Americas (North and South America).
  • Experience working with cross‑functional, international teams.
  • Strong understanding of the travel industry value chain, including air products, OTAs, and B2B partnerships.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid analytical and strategic thinking skills; ability to gather market intelligence and turn insights into actionable plans.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across North and South America.
  • Self‑starter with strong initiative, capable of working independently in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
