Uma grande empresa do setor automotivo está em busca de um(a) gestor(a) de EHS para liderar a conformidade com as normas de saúde e segurança no Brasil. O profissional será responsável por gerenciar uma equipe de gerentes de EHS, desenvolver e implementar políticas que garantam a segurança e a saúde ocupacional, e fornecer relatórios sobre o desempenho nos indicadores-chave. Procuramos um candidato com pelo menos 10 anos de experiência em EHS em um ambiente de manufatura e habilidades sólidas de comunicação, influência e análise.

Qualificações

• Deve ter pelo menos 10 anos de experiência liderando uma função de EHS em um ambiente industrial.
• Desejável experiência em trabalho com outras funções do negócio como P&D, cadeia de suprimentos e marketing.

Responsabilidades

• Gerir uma equipe de 7 gerentes de EHS em várias localizações na América Latina.
• Assegurar conformidade com as regulamentações nacionais e padrões da Goodyear.
• Liderar o desenvolvimento e implementação de estratégias e políticas que reduzam o risco de lesões e incidentes ambientais.

Primary Purpose

Establish systems to ensure compliance with local Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and Goodyear standards.

Lead the development and implementation of strategies and policies that ensure safety, occupational health, and environmental systems are in place that enable continuous improvement both for Latin America operations.

Drive the EHS systems / tools integration into the Latin America operations - provide visibility to key performance indicators.

Prepare for and participate in regional and global meetings / workshops to provide strategic direction / alignments on EHS.

Lead and develop a team of plant EHS managers.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 7 EHS managers at multiple LA locations
• Ensure compliance to country regulations and Goodyear standards.
• Lead the development and implementation of strategies, programs, and policies that reduce risk of injuries, illness, and environmental incidents
• Lead the continuous improvement of of EHS management systems, programs, and policies.

Provide communication to Goodyear leadership regarding performance to metrics, system progress, and compliance status.

Education and Certifications

• Required: BS in environmental health and safety, engineering, science, or related degree.
• Desired: MS in environmental health and safety or MBA, professional certification in one or more disciplines.

Experience

• Required: At least 10 years leading an EHS function within a manufacturing setting.
• Desired: Experience working with other functions of the business such as R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, etc. in addition to Manufacturing.
