We’re an 8-figure DTC beauty & wellness brand generating $1M+ in monthly revenue through high-volume, high-converting video advertising. We need an elite video editor who understands direct response mechanics and can produce scroll-stopping ads at scale.
Your work will directly drive sales across Meta, YouTube, and emerging platforms—with immediate feedback from millions of impressions monthly.
High-Volume Ad Production (40-60 ads / month): Transform raw creator footage, UGC clips, and b-roll into persuasive short-form ads (15-90 seconds) and VSLs that convert cold traffic into buyers. You’ll work across multiple products and funnels simultaneously.
Craft hooks that stop thumbs in the first 3 seconds (pattern interrupts, bold claims, visual glitches)
Deploy engagement disruptors: kinetic typography, callout graphics, progress bars, emoji reactions
Optimize pacing for platform algorithms (Meta 9:16, YouTube Shorts)
Post-Production Excellence: Color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and seamless transitions using Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve. Your edits should feel polished but authentic—not overproduced.
Rapid Iteration & Testing: Partner with our Creative Strategist to test new concepts weekly. Expect fast feedback cycles and the need to pivot based on real-time campaign data. Speed + quality = your competitive advantage here.
Leverage tools like Descript, Runway, and AI caption generators to maximize output without sacrificing quality. We value efficiency and smart automation.
Strong level of fluent English fluency (hard requirement)
2+ years editing for DTC / eCommerce brands (beauty, health, or supplements ideal)
Portfolio demonstrating direct response ads that drove conversions (show us your winners)
Deep understanding of Meta / YouTube Shorts specs and algorithm-friendly editing patterns
Native fluency with UGC aesthetics (raw, authentic, relatable) vs. polished brand content
Proven ability to produce 8-12 ads per week without compromising quality
Ability to think critically and recommend new approaches, ad formats, and tools (outside the box)
Experience editing short-form VSLs (2-3+ minutes) or long-form VSLs (25+ minutes)
Understanding of direct response copywriting principles
Familiarity with CapCut, Descript, or AI editing tools
Fast turnaround times (24-48 hour revisions)
Self-directed work ethic in a remote environment
Ego-free collaboration and receptiveness to feedback
