Required Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years of data analysis and reporting experience
- Advanced experience writing and creating large‑scale surveys (QuestionPro, Qualtrics), analyzing results / data, and developing actionable findings
- Experience with Tableau for data visualization
- Experience in writing detailed reports and presenting data findings / analysis
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
- Passion for video games / gaming in order to assist in writing and interpreting survey questions
- Experience with SQL writing data queries

Insight Global is hiring a Data Research Analyst to support the User Experience Research team at a leading company in the Gaming industry. The main role of the Data Research Analyst will be to create, send, and analyze large‑scale surveys intended to learn about the player base of the core gaming products.
Job Functions
- Create surveys and trackers to support all products and initiatives
- Design questions that do not bias respondents
- Use best practice methodologies to produce actionable, accurate, and representative data
- Advanced, survey‑focused, data visualizations (Tableau, Excel, Sheets)
- Creating clear reports and dashboards based on surveys sent to players and users of their products
- Data queries (HIVE, Snowflake, Tableau)
- Query multiple types of databases and plug data queries directly into tools like Tableau to target audiences for survey sends, pull additional analytics to identify respondents, and allow for advanced visualizations
- Report writing and presenting data
- Write detailed and understandable reports that speak to a variety of audiences across the enterprise
- Present data in meetings and provide additional relevant context where applicable
- Act as backup for all functions of current data researchers
- Provide support to UX researchers on report creation that involves data visualization
- Quickly pivot with new data to ensure a constant flow of player insights is output as updated survey data is received, ensuring we are always reporting on timely and relevant findings
- Contribute to overall needs of the UXR team, e.g., peer review, supporting other teams with survey expertise, etc.
- Assist others in the company with the creation of surveys by contributing survey expertise
