Your Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join us for a 6-month contract (PJ), working alongside top-tier talents to build scalable and high-quality data pipelines and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize robust ETL pipelines using Python, DBT, and modern data stack.
• Manage and maintain SQL Server and MongoDB data stores, ensuring data availability, reliability, and scalability.
• Work closely with Data Analysts and Scientists to prepare, model, and expose data for insights and experimentation.
• Implement and enforce data quality checks, version control, and documentation best practices.
• Continuously evaluate new tools and practices that align with data engineering excellence and business value.
• Contribute to AI-first delivery using PALO’s Gen-e2 methodology.

Who You Are

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Expert proficiency in Python for data transformation, scripting, and automation.
• Strong experience with SQL Server (stored procedures, indexing, performance tuning).
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB (schema design, aggregation framework, performance profiling).
• Solid command of DBT (Data Build Tool) for transformation in modern data stack.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to independently design and optimize scalable solutions.
• Comfortable working in agile environments and delivering under time constraints.
