Tasks
POSITION

We are searching for a self‑motivated country manager to help with the expansion of our organization and business in Brazil.

The country manager will lead all region specific operations ensuring a successful market entry and subsequent growth of Stenon in Brazil.

Responsibilities include recruitment and training, establishing a strong presence of Stenon in the Brazilian market, establishing budgets, setting up performance monitoring and reporting.

YOU WILL
  • Be responsible for all topics related to expansion, strategy and local operations of Stenon's subsidiary in Brazil
  • Recruiting, vetting, and training new staff.
  • Researching the country or region thoroughly and adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Monitoring performance at all levels and scheduling training as required.
  • Supporting an effective brand strategy and ensuring consistency.
  • Supporting partnership management and growth.
  • Reporting directly to the CEO / Founder
  • Building professional relationships with staff and clients.
  • Building and upholding Stenon's reputation in the Brazil market
Requirements :
  • A master's degree in business administration, management or a related field.
  • An additional degree in an agriculture related field.
  • Several years of experience working in the space of agriculture in Brazil (preferably in states of São Paulo and Paraná).
  • A very good knowledge base of Brazilian agriculture, and a willingness to learn.
  • The ability to provide excellent customer service together with our Head of CS.
  • Good people‑management skills.
  • Sensitivity to different cultural norms (EU and LATAM cultural).
  • Very good language skills written and spoken in Portuguese and English (German - would be a plus)

(Working 5+ years in a European company would be a plus)
