Business Travel Consultant – Sabre Specialist

Our client is a U.S.-based high-end travel concierge agency specializing in luxury, business, and first-class travel experiences. They support global executives, VIP travelers, and corporate clients who require fast, precise, and concierge-level travel management.

As the company grows, we are seeking an experienced Business Travel Consultant with strong Sabre expertise to join the team and support daily travel operations.

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Travel Consultant who is expert-level in Sabre (GDS) and experienced in managing corporate or VIP travel arrangements.

This is not a sales role — it is a travel operations and internal support position, focused on booking, reissuing, revalidating, and managing complex itineraries.

The ideal candidate must be confident, accurate, calm under pressure, and deeply familiar with Sabre functionalities.

Key Responsibilities
Sabre Operations
  • Create, modify, and manage PNRs using Sabre Red 360.
  • Issue, reissue, and exchange tickets (including voluntary & involuntary changes).
  • Handle schedule changes, cancellations, fare differences, and endorsement procedures.
  • Review and interpret fare rules (FQD / FQR) and apply correct booking codes.Perform queue management, seat assignments, SSR / OSI updates, and split PNRs.
Travel Coordination
  • Research and book complete itineraries : flights, hotels, cars (using GDS or partner platforms).
  • Provide high-touch support for VIP and executive clients.
  • Resolve urgent travel disruptions (missed flights, overbookings, irregular operations).
  • Coordinate with airlines, hotel partners, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
Client Support & Communication
  • Communicate itinerary details clearly and professionally.
  • Provide status updates and proactive solutions during travel disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, client preferences, and travel history.
Administration & Tools
  • Manage bookings through CRM or ERP tools (Salesforce experience is a plus).Create confirmations, summaries, reports, and invoice-related documentation.
  • Keep internal systems updated with client and booking data.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience using Sabre (GDS) in daily operations.
Proven ability to :
  • Issue / reissue tickets
  • Manage exchanges
  • Interpret fare rules
  • Handle involuntary changes
  • Manage queues and PNR corrections
  • Strong background in corporate, executive, or VIP travel management.
  • Experience working for airlines, TMCs, or corporate travel departments.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle time-sensitive requests.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with other GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo).
  • Background in luxury travel or high-touch concierge service.
  • Experience supporting C-suite or international travelers.
    • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM / ERP platforms.
    Work Schedule

    Full-time (~40 hours per week, PST or EST hours, with PST preferred as the company is located in PST hours)
