The Team Leader is responsible for leading day-to-day activities and executing all commercial business activities on behalf of Alcoa, specifically related to their regional responsibility.
Directly support the Commercial Manager in implementing regional initiatives and driving global alignment and process harmonization.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and suppliers, ensuring satisfaction, contract compliance, and timely revenue collection.
Lead and manage a team of Commercial Supply Chain Specialists, guaranteeing accurate and on-time execution of sales, purchasing, and trade-related obligations.
Provide accurate and transparent information to internal stakeholders for production, revenue, logistics, and delivery forecasting.
Champion continuous process improvement initiatives, focusing on eliminating non-value-added activities.
Prepare and deliver timely reports and updates to senior leadership as required.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, or a related field. Studying towards or having completed a master's degree is highly desirable.
Demonstrated leadership experience with a proven track record of fostering a safe and inclusive working culture.
Demonstrated experience in the supply chain and logistics sector (commercial), including high-value and complex international trade activities.
Leadership skills with a passion to motivate, empower, energize, encourage, and influence others.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to successfully communicate with multilingual customers based in multiple countries. Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
Ability to engage and influence stakeholders to drive continuous organizational improvements and collaboration.
