The Cainiao Logistics Operations Manager is responsible to manage the transportation operations, staff and partners, building operational procedures, ensuring and improving service levels, providing timely resolution to issues and real-time decisions. Constantly working on improve SLA, processes and customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Manages, develops, plans, implements, organizes and control e-commerce and LTL transportation solutions, strategies and programs;
- Provides assistance in identifying specific new operations, services and partners opportunities and participates in the development of new or modified service offerings;
- Implement objectives through effective organization in the processes;
- Lead, analyze, review and implement process optimization;
- Review and control activities to assure effective growth;
- Maintain constant communication and build strong relations with Cainiao's Partners (Carriers, Suppliers and others) and other departments, in order to guarantee the running of operations, according to pre-established SLAs as well as solve bottlenecks in the transportation network;
- Be able to manage and interpret data from different databases to develop logistics operations KPI's using BI systems and tools;
- Build process and capabilities to monitor volumes, potential operational disruptions, and align maintenance of network coverage stability, abnormal and handling of major emergencies;
- Ensure network capacity is in line with demand and volumes forecast;
- Lead the department to manage and monitor, in a daily, weekly and monthly basis, several KPIs and quickly identify trends and business impacts, to make adjustments needed and solve issue proactively;
- Establish and control routine for mapped actions plans and cause and effect solve problems;
- Serve as escalation point for problems or variance in the network and data to the process owner, other departments to ensure resolutions are delivered;
- Be the liaison between operations and customer experience departments to ensure that customer demands are met;
Build mechanisms that can guarantee the quickest customers returns problems solutions.
