Job Brief

The Business Integration Analyst (BIA) will be the key liaison between the customer’s business teams and the other members of the project delivery team. The position requires to provide in-depth knowledge of the Gridstream product and, working across departments including Development, Engineering, SQA, Product Management, and Project Management. The Business Integration Analyst is responsible for collecting business requirements and configurations from the customer’s business teams and configuring the product.

Biggest Challenges
  • Provide integration consulting and business process definition.
  • Hands-on experience with the product to support customer requirements and perform data analysis.
  • Deep understanding of product data models and ability to analyze large data sets.
  • Ensure project documentation is up to date and collaborate with Solution Architects to document all project customizations for hand-off.
  • Work closely with Implementation and Project Managers to define and meet data Service Level Agreements (SLAs) during project planning and throughout project hand-off.
  • Support testing and validation of integration interfaces within the customer’s integration landscape.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to validate test cases and support system validation.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting of issues identified during solution deployment.
  • Act as liaison with other Landis+Gyr business units to resolve and follow up on issues or defects.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required.
  • Utility industry experience highly preferred.
  • Background in software quality testing desirable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Hands-on experience in testing and validation processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (written and oral).
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to handle complex data and problem-solving.
  • Experience with Oracle databases and SQL.
  • Working knowledge of UNIX and Python.
  • Nice to have: PL/SQL and development experience.
  • Highly adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
  • Customer-focused mindset, with proven ability to resolve issues effectively.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills; ability to work independently when required.
  • Ability to plan and maintain schedules.
  • Sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques for problem-solving.
