Your Role & Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst – FX Markets, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering technology solutions that support trading and market activities.

Requirements & Functional Analysis

Gather and analyze business requirements across FX trading, pricing, liquidity, and market connectivity.

Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Define and maintain API requirements, including data models, message structures, and integration flows.

Map end-to-end processes and identify improvement opportunities aligned with digital transformation initiatives.

Delivery & Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with Front Office, Middle Office, Product Owners, Architects, and Technology teams.

Support test planning, QA clarification, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Collaborate within a global, multi-disciplinary organization, ensuring alignment with governance and best practices.

Documentation & Tools

Produce clear, structured, and high-quality documentation using Jira and Confluence.

Leverage AI-based tools to improve efficiency in analysis, documentation, and communication.

Ensure functional artefacts are traceable, auditable, and aligned with internal standards.

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience in FX Markets, including Spot, Forwards, Swaps, NDFs, or eFX.

Proven experience defining API and integration requirements.

Solid working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, stakeholder-rich environment.

Nice to Have

Experience with electronic trading platforms, market connectivity, or algorithmic trading.

Hands-on use of AI productivity tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Rovo).

Knowledge of FX regulatory frameworks (e.g. MiFID II).

Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Basic knowledge of SQL or Python for data analysis and validation.
