The Opportunity

As a Backend Engineer youll be instrumental in architecting and developing the core systems that power our innovative legal platform. Youll work alongside a talented founding engineering team building scalable solutions that tackle complex industry challenges.

What Youll Do

• Architect scalable systems Design and implement high-performance backend infrastructure using Python Go Rust and WebAssembly
• Build cloud-native solutions Leverage AWS services including Amplify LightSail and Fargate to create robust secure and scalable infrastructure
• Manage data architecture Work across diverse database technologies including PostgreSQL MongoDB and vector databases
• Drive product impact Collaborate directly with the founding engineering team to ship high-impact features that delight users
• Shape the vision Contribute to product strategy and technical direction as an early team member with substantial influence

• Strong proficiency in backend development with Python Go or Rust
