About the team

ALM (Asset and Liability Management) team is responsible for planning and optimizing Nubank's balance sheet.

We ensure that we have the funding resources for Nubank growth with an optimal structure and adequate level of risks.

Also, we evaluate if the return of funding used by all our business is adequate and sustainable.

Nubank complexity is increasing with more products and companies and ALM team guarantees the best funding structure to achieve our BHAG.

About the role

The Asset Liability Specialist will be responsible for :

• Plan the optimal liquidity and funding structure for the long-term.
• Solve advanced analytical problems using data, experience and tools.
• Support the liquidity and funding management of international operations.
• Collaborate with team members and other teams in a constructive and data-driven way.
• Develop a global financial view of Nubank's business as a whole.

What we are looking for

• Strong analytical background.
• Statistical and forecasting skills.
• Any knowledge with Data manipulation tools (for example, Nubank ETL knowledge, DataBricks, Spark SQL, Python).
• Previous experience in ALM area os related (for example, financial planning, financial instruments etc).
• Advanced English.
