A global leader in automation is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager in São Paulo, Brazil. The role involves supporting the Sales organization in strategic deployment, managing business plans, and providing reports on sales activities. Ideal candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering, with at least 5 years of sales experience. Candidates must possess strong negotiation and customer-oriented skills, along with proficiency in English, Spanish, and preferably Portuguese.

Qualificações

  • 5+ years of experience in similar sales positions.
  • Knowledge of automation (PLC) and Drives.
  • Experience with distribution channels.
  • Familiarity with market segments such as Water, F&B, Mining, Oil & Gas.
  • Intermediate-advanced English and fluent Spanish; desirable Portuguese.

Responsabilidades

  • Support MODP's strategy deployment and pricing policies.
  • Manage reporting and marketing activities for region.
  • Provide regular sales and training activity reports.
  • Assist sales organization in solution preparation.
  • Request country sales forecasts.

Supports the defined Sales organization and customers throughout the sales process in their assigned area.

Brings new business and improves the existing ones by supporting the Sales organization with relevant knowledge of products and markets.

Your responsibilities :
  • Support the deployment of MODP's strategy, defining market channels, pricing policies, product portfolios, profitability and coverage in the assigned countries.
  • Follow up on the business plans of the Global Segment Managers in each country, supervising the reporting and management of marketing and sales (M&S) activities.
  • Provides regular reports of the area sales and training activities.
  • Supports the Sales organization / customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers.
  • Requests the sales forecast of assigned countries for production planning.
Your background :
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
  • 5 or more years of experience working in similar positions.
  • Knowledge of automation (PLC) and Drives.
  • Experience working with distribution channels.
  • Knowledge of varied market segments (Water, F&B, Mining, Cellulose, Oil & Gas, Metals, among others).
  • Availability to travel (40% travel, 60% office / remote).
  • Resilient, leader by example, collaborative, customer and results oriented, solid negotiation skills, outside-the-box thinking (creative, flexible and adaptable).
  • Intermediate-advanced English level (conversational), and Spanish (fluent).
  • Desirable intermediate level of Portuguese.
