What you'll learn & achieve

The

Preparing periodic financial reports including Statement of Income, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement and supporting schedules in accordance with US and BR Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and company's financial policies and procedures.

Assuring that all prepared reports accurately reflect the Company's results of operations and financial position.

Ensuring that appropriate internal controls are in place and functioning as intended.

The main activities are

• Leading and encouraging the full accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure deadlines are met.
• Managing Month End & Year End preparation General ledger and Resulting Financial reports (Revenues, Operating profit, Net Earnings, and other Financial results).
• Preparing USGAAP and BRGAAP financial statements, which include support documentation, data analysis, integrity validation and reconciliation processes.
• Assuring revenue recognition in accordance with BR and US GAAP, and company's financial policies and procedures.
• Directing the preparation of required reports and classifying all expenditures.
• Supporting and developing initiatives to improve accounting systems and processes for the organization.
• Managing the performance of direct reports and work processes in a matrix environment by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing career counseling, feedback, and guidance, and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.
• Significant interaction with Regional Finance Manager and regional divisions to accomplish the business objectives.
• Following the company's code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.

What makes you a great fit

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a valid accounting credentials - CRC
• Fluent English / Spanish is a plus
• Previous leadership experience
• Global corporation experience - Recent relevant financial and accounting experience.
• Solid technical skills related to BR GAAP and US GAAP is a plus.
• Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, (Oracle is a plus)
• Ability to produce recommendations / actionable insights based on data and lead the action on them.
• Culturally sensitive, a team player who can exhibit strong leadership, and be able to motivate team.
• Open to new ideas, promoter of change initiatives and facility to deal effectively with ambiguity
• Knowledge of Oracle R12 and Hyperion
• Knowledge of public company reporting requirements is a plus.
