Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Neonatologist to join a leading hospital in Dubai. The ideal candidate will provide specialized neonatal care, managing critically ill newborns and ensuring the highest standards of treatment in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Diagnose and treat newborns with complex medical conditions, including premature births and congenital disorders.
- Oversee NICU patient management, ensuring optimal care and recovery.
- Perform advanced neonatal procedures, including ventilation management and resuscitation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including pediatricians, nurses, and specialists.
- Provide consultative services for neonatal cases and high-risk pregnancies.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in neonatology and implement best practices.
- Participate in clinical research, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
- Offer guidance and support to junior medical staff and NICU nurses.
- Provide on-call emergency coverage for neonatal emergencies.
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree or equivalent.
- Board certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in neonatology, preferably in a tertiary care NICU.
- DHA / MOH / HAAD Consultant License (preferred).
- Expertise in neonatal ventilation, nutrition, and infection control.
